Check your emails, RED by SFR increases its prices discreetly
Some subscribers to RED by SFR have received an email to indicate a price increase for their package. Check if this is your case.
RED by SFR has stopped talking about "lifetime" packages and now prefers to guarantee the absence of price increases for 1 year. And for good reason, since the old packages regularly increase in price, with an increase in the services offered, but with a simple email as an indication.
Red by SFR raises its prices
If you subscribe to RED by SFR, check your mailbox (and your spam), you may have received a message telling you that your package is changing with "more gigas to take advantage of 5G". Indeed, you may have an additional 10 or 20 GB in your data envelope, but also a heavier monthly bill of 3 euros.
Several subscribers are already complaining on social networks to see their package go from 10 to 13 euros per month, or even worse, from 5 to 8 euros per month, or a 60% increase. An increase all the more frustrating as the operator offered much more advantageous offers to its new customers for the week of Black Friday.
A possible offer to refuse
Note that the email in question generally contains a link allowing you to refuse this generous gift in order to remain on your current subscription. However, this is not always the case, but the Consumer Code specifies that it is then possible in this case to terminate your mobile plan without any charge.
