Fortunately, there is a simple and very effective solution to overcome this problem: wifi calling! Indeed, you do not necessarily need the mobile network to communicate, especially when you are at home. Only three conditions are necessary to take advantage of wifi calls and SMS at SFR:

The option allows you to communicate without interruption, knowing that the wifi and the 4G or 5G network will each take over automatically if you are on the move. By default, the feature is disabled on compatible mobiles. Don't panic, the procedure is very simple. Here's how to do it on Apple smartphones:

  3. Sélectionnez "Paramètres"
  4. Activez "Appels WiFi"

On compatible Huawei brand smartphones, it's still a little different, but it's still very simple:

  1. Rendez-vous dans les "Paramètres"
  2. Sélectionnez "Plus"
  3. Sélectionnez "Appels WiFi"
  4. Activez le curseur et appuyez sur "Activer"

Once your smartphone is connected to wifi, whether via your box or a hotspot, the service can work. Thus, you will be able to receive and make calls, or even send SMS without problem. Nothing changes except the connection mode. If you have followed the above steps correctly, your network will now automatically switch to 4G/5G or wifi, depending on the strength of your signal. This way, you can continue your calls without being afraid that it will cut off as soon as you go get something to snack on!
