Travel restrictions, limited to essential travel, are only maintained for eight countries, including five from the European Union.

These are Cyprus, Croatia, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Sweden, as well as South Africa, Brazil and India.

Hundreds of British holidaymakers, the first tourist market, are expected next week in Portugal mainly in the Algarve tourist region (South), a boon for a sector disaster-signed by the Cavid-19 pandemic.

On May 29, thousands of supporters were also expected in Porto (North) to attend the Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea.
