"8 rue de l'Humanité": a trailer for Dany Boon's comedy about confinement

The filmmaker was inspired by the first confinement of spring 2020 to stage a delirious comedy of which he has the secret. The comedy will be broadcast on Netflix next October.

Dany Boon is back. The comedian signs 8, rue de l'Humanité, his seventh film as a director, of which he unveils the trailer this Wednesday. The filmmaker was inspired by the first confinement to stage a delirious comedy of which he has the secret.

8, rue de l'Humanite therefore follows the fate of the inhabitants of a building in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, including a hypochondriac in panic, a bistro owner, a scientist in search of a vaccine, a lawyer who struggles to reconcile professional and family life, an online sports coach who grows bigger over the weeks, his pregnant fiancée who makes the buzz by becoming an anti-Covid singer, a rich self-made man desperate not to have the school level of her 8 year old son.

Dany Boon stars Laurence Arné (also co-screenwriter), François Damiens, Yvan Attal, Alison Wheeler, Elie Semoun, Nawell Madani, Tom Leeb and Liliane Rovère. Airing scheduled for October 20 on Netflix.
