Master Class David Cage - Forum des Images, Thursday Oct 18.

His style breaks the codes and earned him to be dubbed with the title of "Godard du Pixel".20 years after founding Quantic Dream, David Cage is still looking for new emotions and gaming experiences.

After a career as a composer and musician, David Cage founded the French video game studio Quantic Dream in 1997, with the aim of using interactivity as a new form of expression.Intimately convinced that video games can affect a wider audience and become a creative media with meaning, he develops an original vision based on emotion and interactive narration.

Through games like Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and more recently Detroit: Become Human, Cage develops a new approach to interactive narration upsetting the traditional video game codes.Through his actions and his choices, the player tells his own story, and becomes both the coacter, the co -listing and the co -director of his experience. He is confronted with dilemmas and moral choices that question him about his own values, transforming the game into a very personal experience which implies it emotionally.
